Why is Gold Certification Important?

Being certified as a Gold product with SolidWorks means that the product has achieved the highest level of integration with SolidWorks. Once you are finished designing in SolidWorks, you simply use Mastercam for SolidWorks to program toolpaths. The toolpaths are applied directly to your SolidWorks model…in their native environment. The power of Mastercam toolpaths right at your fingertips…in the SolidWorks interface!

Design changes are certainly expected, and with Mastercam for SolidWorks it's as simple as clicking 1 button. Once a design change happens, the toolpaths that are currently used are marked "dirty" and simply clicking on the "Rebuild" button automatically updates the toolpath to reflect the updated design. Since the toolpaths are fully associative to the geometry, toolpaths can be updated when needed.

Mastercam for SolidWorks supports both Part and Assembly environments, as well as configurations.
